The Medline Wheelchair is self propelling and can be operated by the user OR pushed by someone else. The wheelchair includes legs that raise, lower, and swing away for an easy exit from the chair. The armrests raise allowing the wheelchair to be pushed directly to a table. While not an off-roading wheelchair, the wheels can handle most terrain including gravel and dirt easily for periods. An 18 inch seat will work for most people, a typical airline seat is 17 to 17.5 inches.

The wheelchair folds for easy transport. The wheelchair has fit in every car and SUV that has picked up at our warehouse but please measure your trunk to be sure. Measure your trunk using the height and length to ensure the wheelchair has enough room to either stand up or lay down.
